Questions containing words such as state, list, identify, name require one or two word answers
Questions containing words such as explain, justify, analyse, describe require a more detailed structured response
Avoid phrases such as 'quick and easy', 'nice effect', 'strong'
Use correct colour pen- black or blue. No colour pen.
Don't write in the margin. This is where examiners make notes, there is blank sheets at the end or ask for additional paper.
Spelling is not critical but handwriting is if cannot read your work
Coloured pencils are useful. If not using make sure you annotate colours on design questions
