order to evaluate and Identify existing products it is important
to first identify a target group who the product is aimed at. A
profile of a target group would include:
- Information
about the lifestyle of the group
- The
buying habits of the group (will depend on age as to what
people can afford
- Gender
(this can determine colours/images chosen for a design)
- Where
people live
- Occupation
Having a good profile can also help you fill a gap in the market (niche
marketing).
